Remember this is a three day weekend as we observe Martin Luther King Day. No school on Monday.
All activities are cancelled for tomorrow (this includes our cheer camp). We tried to hold off as long as possible but the icy weather keeps coming. The rescheduled date for the cheer camp will be 1/25/2020 (next Saturday- 9am - 11am in the dome).
The New Berlin CUSD 16 Board of Education is conducting a search for a new superintendent. The selection of a new superintendent is probably the most important decision a board of education has to make; therefore, the Board has hired the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) to assist in this process.
The Board of Education is seeking everyone’s input in the search process. The Board requests that all staff, parents and community members complete an online survey provided by the IASB. The results will be tallied and used by the Board and Screening Team to develop a brochure to advertise the position.

New Berlin School District will utilize our 11:45 am dismissal schedule today. We understand how the disruption to normal schedules can be difficult for everyone. However the predicted weather pattern warrants such safety precautions. Please note that with an 11:45 am dismissal lunch will not be able to be served. Again, for the safety of our students we will be dismissing at 11:45 am.
