Tomorrow is picture retake day!

We celebrated 1st grade Salty Dough winners this morning!

The temperature is dropping but we still plan to go outside for recess on most days. Please remind your child to bring a warm coat, hat and gloves so they are not cold when we go outside. Recess will be inside when it is raining or below 20 degrees. Thank you for your help!

We celebrated the kindergarten Salty Dough winners this morning!

A little morning fun!

It looks like tomorrow is going to be a cool day. Please have your child wear long sleeves and pants under their costume. See everyone tomorrow!

We are 1 sleep away from our 1st Costume Parade & Trunk or Treat! Please remember to park in the lots at the elementary school and the gravel lot on the west side of the high school if you plan to watch the parade. The students will make one lap around the track and then go to the trunk or treat event in the bus parking area. If you will be taking your child home after the Parade and Trunk or Treat, you must sign them out with the teacher before they go back in the school. Thank you for your support as we start this tradition at New Berlin Elementary.
Pre-K, K, 1st-1:00
2nd & 3rd-1:30
4th & 5th-2:00
In the event of rain we will post an updated plan tomorrow.

We are 1 week away from our 1st Costume Parade & Trunk or Treat! Thank you for all of the candy donations and for the Trunk or Treat volunteers. All vehicle sign ups were done with PTO, we have all parking spots filled at this time. We well definetly look for ways to increase our vehicle participation next year. If you are coming to watch the parade, we ask that you park in the lots at the elementary school and the gravel lot on the west side of the high school. If you will be taking your child home after the Parade and Trunk or Treat, please contact your teacher before Thursday, October 20th so they can create a sign out. All parents will still need to go to the front door to sign out their child on the day of the event after they have been to the Trunk or Treat. If your child does not have a costume, please reach out to your child’s teacher or the office and we will ensure they have one for the event. Thank you for your support as we start this tradition at New Berlin Elementary.

Bus 11 will be late to pick up afternoon Pre-K students today. The bus was involved in an accident before picking students up so we are in the process of switching out the bus.

New Berlin Elementary PTO Book Fair has open shopping from 5:30-7pm tonight and from 5-7pm tomorrow night in the NBE library. We hope to see everyone there.

Good evening Pretzel Families,
I am emailing to apologize for the short notice of a Fire Station Field Trip for our K-5th grade students tomorrow. This has been a long standing field trip and we are excited to be able to make the walk to the fire house and learn about fire safety here in our own community. I am sorry for the lack of early communication and will work to do better in communicating earlier on future school trips. If you wish for your child to not participate in the walk to the fire station, please contact your child's teacher immediately. Thank you for your understanding.

We made it to October. Here is the monthly newsletter with information and a few pictures from the last few weeks. Have a great weekend!
