General

FCCLA and SADD are participating in the Celebrate my Drive Campaign.  Celebrate My Drive is about celebrating this big, new life of freedom that comes with a driver’s license. Part of that life means making smart choices behind the wheel, which is why we’re spreading the message of 2N2® – 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel. It’s a simple habit that can reduce distracted driving. It is also important to buckle up while driving. Seat belts can save lives. Part of the campaign involves a contest. Everyday please go to www.celebratemydrive.com and make a safe driving commitment for New Berlin High school. Have your friends and family make one too. The winning school gets concert for The Band Perry. There are also $100,000 and $25,000 prizes to be won. Voting goes on from October 15th through the 24th. Please vote to help NBHS be a winner.

SADD is selling Pretzel Jerseys! Please see Mrs. Picchi to try on a jersey before ordering. You can try on jerseys before or after school. The cost is $25.

Picture retakes are scheduled for October 29, 2014. The order forms are located in the High School office.

Yearbook order forms are in the office. Any yearbook ordered through October 31will be $5 off, making it just $45 instead of $50. Also, the first 20 people to purchase a yearbook will get a free CD of yearbook photos with their yearbook. See Mrs. Beard for any questions.

The Seniors are selling Krispy Kreme donuts.  They are $7 a dozen and oh so delicious!  Payment is due at the time of purchase.  Seniors must turn in all money by October 29th, and delivery will be the second week of November.
